ASK EMMA: SKIN CARE & CLEANSING

WHAT EMMA DOESN’T KNOW ABOUT BEAUTY ISN’T WORTH KNOWING...

Dear Emma...

Can you recommend some products that I can take away with me when I go on a short trip for work. I don’t want to compromise my skincare routine but I like to pack light and my normal skincare would take up half my suitcase!

You have to log yourself on at Bliss – www.blisslondon.co.uk. Their The Youth As We Know it Range is one of my favourites so I nearly did a cartwheel when I saw their handy travel set.

It has all five products you’d need in there from the Cleanser, Toner, Concentrate, Eye Cream and Moisture Cream and in travel sizes that will see you through a good couple of weeks of travel.

I’m putting it on my Christmas list and have already stocked up via the website for all those impromptu evenings or weekends away.

Please can you recommend a deodorant that smells nice?

If you’re looking for something sweet-smelling as opposed to synthetic then I’d definitely recommend you try Tisserand Refreshing Deodorant, £5.20, in the Wild Rose & Lemon Leaf variety.

It’s a very natural scent that lingers more like a perfume than a deodorant. It’s become one of my favourite ways of bashing BO into submission!

Can you recommend a face wash that I can use to take off my make-up that won’t make my skin feel tight or dry?

I’m a big fan of Philosophy products anyway but I love their Purity High Foaming Daily Cleanser, £17.

It’s a lovely pump action bottle that froths out a gorgeous foam that lifts off any trace of make-up, including mascara. Plus, I love it because it looks so chic in my bathroom.
