It's been a pretty strange few Months for Sven's double!

After a "tour de fource" in Manchester that also drew me to the further attention of MCFC Official Hospitality managent and just as I was discussing a summer schedule as VIP host entertainer with key figures at Eastlands, Svennis got the boot from Dr Shinawatra and all those plans melted away. Some very well meaning enquiries from official Man-City fan organisations to take part in their "Save Our Sven" campaign were thoughtful, but I considered inapproriate for me and I had to decline these the same as those made by England fan organisations in 2006. Life (and Svennis) moves on and there's little point in fighting what is inevitable...

As one door closes, another opens and I had the call to shoot a wonderfully funny TV commercial in Zagreb (Croatia) which was a hoot and involved a more than usual run of some very entertaining cases of mistaken identity as I moved around airports, hotels and various film locations.Having been around the world many times, this was my first visit to what was the communist bloc and I must say the hospitality and the people were a delight and it's definitely on my list of places to spend a holiday. The German's have already discovered the merits but Brits appear tro have overlooked this paerticular jem in the Adriatic sea.

Outside of the usual round of appearances, speaking assignments and celebrity parties and events, my publicist has taken over the many media and commercial enquiries from Mexico City and it looks like I will be swapping the regular trip to Manchester for a number of tours and specific assignments south of the border down Mexico way........
