The room was decorated with red, silver, baby-blue and light-pink balloons, palm tree banners and ‘Happy Birthday’ napkins on the bar while the birthday girl's table was filled with cupcake - including one with a tiara especially for Lindsay.

The 22-year-old - who has previously had a spell in rehab battling alcohol addiction - sipped on Red Bull while partying the night away to tunes by DJ AM.

Just before the actress’ day was over at the strike of midnight, everyone gathered to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ and the star was presented with a specially-made Marilyn Monroe cake.

After blowing out her candles, La Lohan's tuxedo-wearing girlfriend Sam took a spin on the decks to entertain the guests for the last hour of the special shindig.
