LILY Allen tried to hit a girl last night after she called her an "idiot".
The singer was walking home after an evening at London's Groucho club when an onlooker started hurling abuse at her.
Lily turned to the girl and yelled: "come and say that to my face."
The star then followed the girl before attempting to hit her three times - but to no avail, as the girl laughed off Lily's attacks and walked away.
TV presenter Miquita Oliver tried to lead Lily to a waiting car, but Lily was having none of it.
She continued: "where is that b**ch, man? I'll f**king batter her."
Eventually the singer was led into a nearby car and calmed down by friends, before spending the rest of the evening at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club.
