What’s good? This seems like a sweet, simple love story, but it has the power to surprise and move you.

There’s good chemistry between Lane and Gere and lots of sexual tension as they’re holed up alone in a house during a storm.

What’s bad? It’s sappy in parts, and a few lines are laughably bad – Diane Lane is so terrific in this, she deserves better.

She recently complained about never getting meaty parts, and we think that casting directors should listen.

OK! verdict: As a weepy for mature single women, this does the trick.
