First impressions… Kid Rock, AKA Robert James Ritchie, is back – and he’s got his Y-fronts in a right
old twist!

The man who, annoyingly for him, is still best known for his five-month marriage to Pammy, uses Rock N Roll Jesus to rant about everything from “scumbag lawyers” to girls who, er, “smell like sex”. Nice.

It’s a bit like listening to the pub bore over a country-rock backing, while certain lyrics are excruciatingly sexist
and more than a little offensive.

If you’ve got a younger brother who thinks breaking wind is the height of humour, then this will be the perfect album for him.

You’ll like this if you like… Jack Daniel’s, chewing straw.

Our favourite track… It’s a really tough choice, but not for the right reasons. We’ll go with All Summer Long.
