First impressions… Let’s be honest – hear one Oasis album and you’ve heard them all. In fact, you can expect more surprises counting to ten than when listening to the Manchester legends.

This is seriously retro stuff, with the usual nods to The Beatles and The Who. It doesn’t match up to their first two albums, but it’s a lot more thoughtful and definitely has its moments, such as the single The Shock Of The Lightning and the downbeat I’m Outta Time.
