After a tough time in the public eye over the past year, Peaches Geldof is set to cut her losses and restart her life in New York.

Peaches, daughter of Sir Bob Geldof, has secured herself a place at university and a job on an American magazine after she faced derision over her quickie wedding to indie boy Max Drummey.

‘She is doing everything she can to move away from how she is perceived in London,’ said a source.
