Chat show host Paul O’Grady has blasted singer Amy Winehouse, saying that she "wants a slap".

He said: "I feel like getting hold of her and yelling: 'I don’t want you found in a pool of your own vomit in a dicey bedsit.'

"She has the most fabulous voice and she behaves like an idiot. It’s disgraceful."
