Contrary to reports claiming Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to her baby daughter Maddie Briann Aldridge by Cesarean Section on Thursday, OK! can officially confirm that the 17-year old new mom delivered her baby naturally and without complications.
Jamie Lynn's healthy baby girl came into the world this morning at 9:33 a.m., and weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz.
Mum and baby are resting comfortably surrounded by family--including sister Britney Spears, parents Jamie and Lynne Spears and brother Bryan Spears.
Maddie is the first child for the former Zoey 101 star and her fiancé, Casey Aldridge.
