Clad in Ancient Chinese dress the characters were part of the celebrations for Star Festival Parade at the theme park, in Urayasu, east of the Japanese capital.

The "Tanabata" star festival celebrates the annual rendezvous of two stars across the Milky Way, based on a Chinese legend.
