MONA LISA'S GARDEN

CROYDON, 24TH JULY

Posted: Thursday 24 Jul 2008

Artist Chris Naylor puts the final touches to the Mona Lisa sculpted into the lawn in a Croydon resident's garden to promote B&Q's Brighten Up Britain campaign.

Chris Naylor painted the Mona Lisa that appeared in the film the 'Da Vinci Code' but had never used a lawn as his canvas before and spent two days drawing and cutting the lawn with a small lawnmower and a handful of garden tools from B&Q.
